Lanai is located in the center of the chain of the 6 popular islands and yet, is the most remote and isolated from the 20^th Century lifestyles and habits. Here, rugged landscapes are sprinkled with pineapple fields and surrounded by sea cliffs and few sandy beaches. The island has been recently opened for visitors and very little lodging is available. The island is accessible via Lanai Airport.
