America’s first women’s football national team will compete in the 2010 Women’s World Championship (IFAF) This summer in Stockholm, Sweden.
The world’s best female American Football players will converge on Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden, for the historic first-ever international competition for women. This event is organized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). All the games will be played at the Zinkensdamms IP Stadium in Stockholm Competing teams will include Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Sweden and the United States.

The Independent Women Football League (IWFL) consists of over 1,800 female athletes and 50 teams. This roster will represent the United States’ first women’s national team in America’s favorite sport. Over 120,000 women are playing tackle football competition in the USA.
