Kauai
High School presents the 7th Annual Girl's Volleyball High
School Challenge. Held on the beautiful island
of Kauai, this event boasts "Lots
of games, good competition, fun, and fellowship on the
Garden Isle." This
competitive high school tournament continues to grow
every year, with 24 teams participating in 2006 and
in 2007! In past years teams from Texas, Iowa, Oregon,
and all over California (Santa Barbara, San Francisco,
Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Jose) have joined
local teams from all over the Hawaiian Islands to participate
in this exciting tournament!
Take a look below for complete lists of participants
from 2006 and 2007.
The
three day High School Volleyball tournament is sanctioned
by the Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA)
and consists of pool play on Thursday and Friday, followed
by playoffs on Saturday. On Saturday evening everyone
participates in the informal dinner and awards banquet,
featuring a special DVD presentation of the tournament
highlights, a special guest speaker, and other entertainment.
